The report concerns the Ministry of Transport, Building and Housing’s management of the Signalling programme for deployment of new signalling systems on the S-Bane (greater Copenhagen area network) in 2018 and on the main national railway lines in 2021. In October 2016, the ministry established that the Signalling programme was delayed by up to three years – to 2021 and 2023, respectively.
The purpose of the study is to determine whether the Ministry of Transport, Building and Housing has assessed the viability of the schedule for implementation of the Signalling programme on an adequate basis.
Rigsrevisionen initiated the study in March 2016.
