Report on illegal collection of property taxes

The report is about an illegal collection of property taxes. The examination concerns the Ministry of Interior and Health (now the Ministry of Economic and Domestic Affairs), the Ministry of Taxation and SKAT (Danish tax and customs administration). The objective of the examination has been to assess the causes of the administrative practice that was in conflict with the regulations of the Property Tax Act, and to assess how the ministries handled the case. Rigsrevisionen launched the examination at the request of the Public Accounts Committee.
