The National Audit Office of Denmark has examined whether the Ministry of Transport and Energy and Post Denmark A/S have ensured that Post Denmark A/S may meet the current sector and competition-law rules. The examination includes an assessment of whether the Ministry of Transport and Energy and Post Denmark A/S have ensured that the division and organisation of the company’s accounts have been undertaken in accordance with current rules and carried out accordingly. In addition to this, the National Audit Office of Denmark has assessed whether Post Denmark A/S has outlined internal procedures, ensuring that the competition-law rules are kept and that the company has kept these when determining prices and discounts when entering into contracts with clients in relation to the delivery of unaddressed mail. The report also includes a review of the Competition Council’s decision in connection with complaints of Post Denmark A/S’ activities and pricing on the market for unaddressed mail.
