Report on case processing times in six government agencies

22-03-2006

Report no. 11/2005

The report examines the development in case processing time during the period 2001-2004 of the National Tax Tribunal, the National Social Appeals Board, the Nature Protection Board of Appeal, the Refugee Board, Patient Injury Complaints Board and the Criminal Injuries Compensation Board.

The report examines the entire case processing procedure in the six agencies from a complaint is received until the decision is submitted to the citizen. The NAOD evaluates whether the case processing is organised in a manner that ensures the shortest possible and justifiable case processing time. Furthermore, it is examined whether the ministries have contributed actively to reducing the agencies’ case processing time.
