Final report

The final audit reports are submitted to the Public Accounts Committee.

Purpose

We submit our report to one of the Public Accounts Committee’s monthly meetings. We inform the ministry of the date of the meeting. The committee adds its comments to the report, before it is published. The committee members’ comments follow a five-level scale of criticism that ranges from Positive to Severe Criticism. The report is published along with a summary of conclusions and main findings.

After the committee meeting, the report is sent to the relevant minister along with instructions to provide information on the measures that the minister intends to implement in response to the issues raised in the report. The minister’s response follows a predefined format and must be submitted within a specific deadline.
